Debuting their first full length album in almost three years, Colony House joined us in Dallas, TX at the House of Blues for a night filled with energy and nostalgia. Fans were ecstatic to hear songs off of their newest album ’77’ as well as a full 18 song setlist comprised of so many hits from over the years.
’77 is Colony House’s fifth studio album. ’77’ is split into two parts. The first debuting September 2025 consisting of 7 songs and the second debuting February 2026 consisting of, you guessed it, 7 more songs. They describe the album as “both a sonic departure and a spiritual arrival; a retro-futurist meditation on eternity, nostalgia, and the invisible threads that hold us together. Rooted in the aesthetics of ‘90s sound” (from colonyhousemusic.com (http://colonyhousemusic.com)).
Colony House was started in 2009 when the band members were in high school. Originally called Caleb, the band changed it’s name to Colony House in 2013, finding the name from an apartment complex they lived in. Now after so many years of making hits fans have grown to know and love, the band expressed how it felt “cool to now be considered a band you grew up with”.
They may be a band we have grown up with, but they will continue to be a band we grow old with. Colony House is not going anywhere. If you have the chance to catch them at any date on the ’77’ tour, it is a must see. The remainder of their tour schedule is listed below:
