BIG THIEF
THE BOMB FACTORY - NOVEMBER 4, 2025

A band very close to my heart personally, Big Thief has been a band for over a decade. They have written songs that have been very pivotal in not only my life, but in so many other’s. Songs that make you feel — and there was no lack of emotion on their sixth studio album ‘Double Infinity’ that was released earlier this year. The album covers a topic we all know too well: getting older and inevitably aging.
In an interview with A Martinez at NPR, Adrianne Lenker was asked about the lyrics in ‘Incomprehensible’ where she sings “In two days, it's my birthday, and I'll be 33. That doesn't really matter next to eternity.” She states “the span of your own lifetime just feels so significant. I also think it's playing with this idea that I've had in my head since I was a child, which is that you're always a child even when you're old. And that next to mountains and great big old trees, next to the idea of infinity and eternity, what is something like an age in the span of a human life?”
Big Thief’s album Double Infinity consists of nine songs. The tour began on September 17th and runs through November 7th. The tour spans across 20 US cities.
